Former Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) hostage Police Col. Enrique Murillo gestures upon arrival in Bogota on June 14, 2010. Colombian soldiers rescued yesterday two senior police officers and a police sergeant --General Luis Herlindo Mendieta, who on Sunday turned 53, Colonel Enrique Murillo and Sergeant Arbey Delgado Argote-- that leftist guerrillas held hostage in the jungle for nearly 12 years.
