BOSNIA-SPAIN-SAMARANCH
The unveiled plaque with new name of the Sarajevo Olympic Sports Hall, in Sarajevo, is pictured on June 16, 2010. The hall has been named "Juan Antonio Samaranch", honoring late Juan Antonio Samaranch, ex-president of The International Olympic Commitee. Samaranch is considered a great friend of Sarajevo who contributed a great deal to bring the 14th Winter Olympic Games to Bosnian capital, in 1984. Samaranch died in Spain, on April 2010.
