BELGIUM-DRCONGO-POLITICS-INDEPENDENCE
People wave Green flags on June 30, 2010, in Brussels, during a demonstration organized by the 'Communaute Congolaise Patriote de Belgique' ('Patriot Congo Community of Belgium') as the Democratic Republic of Congo celebrated its 50th anniversary of independence with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Belgian king among a host of world leaders attending the celebrations. The protest march against Congo's President Joseph Kabila, entitled '30 june 1960 - 30 june 2010 - 50 years of slavery' will cross the congolese quarter 'Matonge' of Brussels and heads towards the European Parliament.
