(FILE) File photograph dated 1946 and provided July 02, 2010 by the family of French engineer Louis Moyroud shows the prototype of a phototypesetting machine. The machine co-invented by Moyroud and Rene Higonnet revolutionized the printing industry in the 1950s before the industry moved to CTP (Computer To Plate) imaging technology in the 1990s and digital printing in the 2000s. Louis Moyroud died June 28, 2010 at his home in Delray Beach, Florida at the age of 96. Editor's note: Text is dated Chatou, May 7, 1946 and addressed to Mr. Luginbuhl, Director of the E. Desfosses Printing Company, 13, Quai Voltaire in Paris. Note reads: "Sir, We are herewith pleased to send you the first print of our prototype.
