French writer and Paris Sorbonne university professor Jean-Pierre Bernes poses on August 13, 2010, in his garden in Audenge, southwestern France, for the release of his recent book "J.L Borges, la vie commence" (J.L Borges, the life begin) published by Le Cherche Midi publishing house. Bernes, a cultural representative at the French embassy in Buenos Aires in 1970, became the friend and the last confidant of Argentinean writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986).
