(FILES) A picture taken on August 19, 2008 shows Spanish Alejandro Maclean with his MXS aircraft performing during a qualification session for the sixth round of the Air Race World Championships over the Danube River of Budapest. Alejandro "Alex" Maclean, a Spanish aerobatics pilot, was killed on August 17, 2010 when his plane slammed into the ground as was performing stunt, said a spokesman for the airfield in Spain where the accident occurred. Alejandro "Alex" Maclean, who was 41, for several years had been a competitor in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship Series, considered the "Formula One" of aerobatics.
