SERBIA-KOSOVO-RELIGION-CATHOLIC-TERESA
An ethnic Albanian holds on September 5, 2010 a portrait of Mother Teresa as he attends a mass at a Catholic cathedral named after Mother Teresa that was inaugurated on September 4 in Pristina. The cathedral, whose foundations were laid by the late Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova, was named after the ethnic Albanian nun Mother Teresa, who died in 1997 and was beatified in 2003. It was inaugurated as a gesture of gratitude for the support given by Catholics to Muslim-majority Kosovo in recent years.
