(FILES) This television grab made on April 12, 2010, shows file pictures of the French journalists Stephane Taponier (L) and Herve Ghesquiere (R) who have been held hostage in Afghanistan since December 29, 2009, as their identity has been unveiled during the France 3 channel evening news broadcast. France has in the past fortnight received proof that two journalists held hostage in Afghanistan are alive and in good health, President Nicolas Sarkozy's chief adviser said September 5, 2010. The two French hostages, Herve Ghesquiere et Stephane Taponier, a reporter and a camerman working for French state television were kidnapped with three Afghan colleagues in December 2009.
