IRAQ-ARCHEAOLOGY
Relics retrieved from the USA are put on display some of 500 archeological treasures brought back to Baghdad by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry from the United States, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Germany on September 07, 2010. Following the US-led invasion of Iraq in March 2003, the Iraqi National Museum was looted and other archeological sites ransacked with thousands of priceless items stolen or destroyed.
