Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as 'Prachanda', leaves parliament without voting for the prime minister's post in Kathmandu on September 26, 2010. Nepal's Maoist party called September 26 for the formation of a new power-sharing government after parliament failed for the eighth time to elect a new prime minister. The former rebels abstained from the vote, the latest in a series of attempts to elect a new leader for the troubled country, which has been without a government for almost three months.
