KAZAKHSTAN-RUSSIA-US-SPACE
A Russian Soyuz TMA-01M rocket with International Space Station (ISS) crew members - Russian cosmonauts Alexander Kaleri and Oleg Skripochka and US astronaut Scott Kelly - blasts off from a Russian-leased Kazakh Baikonur cosmodrome on October 8, 2010. The rocket took off into the night sky on schedule at 23:11 GMT (Oct 7), creating a spectacular yellow light. Russian space officials said the launch had gone according to plan.
