NICARAGUA-HEALTH-LEPTOSPIROSIS
TO GO WITH AFP STORY
Patients affected by the Leptospirosis virus remain in a health centre in El Sauce, 150 km northwest of Managua, on October 19, 2010. The Nicaraguan Government declared a health alert last Saturday around the country to contain an outbreak of Leptospirosis which has caused 16 deaths and sickened 146 people in eight of the 17 departments in the country since the past September.
