BURUNDI-UNREST-REBELS-RWANDA-GREATLAKES

(FILES) President of Burundi Pierre Nkurunziza (L) and the Hutu rebel National Liberation Forces (FNL) Chairman Agathon Rwasa (R) sign a declaration at the end of a regional summit implementing a cease-fire on December 04, 2008. Burundi's former rebel chief, who returned to the bush after pulling out of presidential polls earlier this year, is rearming in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a senior official said on October 22, 2010. Burundian President Pierre "Nkurunziza's regime is trying to demonise us in a bid to get rid of us for good," Rwasa's deputy, Alfred Bagaya told AFP.
