LUXEMBOURG-EU-AGRI-FISHERIES
British state secretary for environment, food and rural affairs Richard Benyon (L) German State Secretary of Agriculture Robert Kloos (C) and EU commissioner for Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Maria Damanaki prior to the Agriculture and Fisheries Council on October 26, 2010 at the international conference center in Luxembourg. Concerning Fisheries, the ministers will try to find a political agreement on fishing opportunities for 2011 in the Baltic Sea. As regards Agriculture, ministers will be briefed on proposed amendments concerning regulation on support for rural development and regulation on direct support schemes for farmers.
