FRANCE-STRIKE-PENSIONS-POLITICS
CGT union representative Pascal Galeote, gives a press point to announce the end of the blockade of the petrol terminal in Fos-Lavera, southern France, on October 29, 2010. Striking workers at all 12 French oil refineries have voted to resume work, unions said today, after two weeks of industrial action to protest pension reform almost brought the country to a halt. The refinery at Donges in the northwest of the country was the last facility to vote to get back to work, while the CGT union announced that the key oil terminal at Fos-Lavera near Marseille would also start working again.
