World record holder Haile Gebrselassie (2L) leads elite men runners cross at the begining of the New York City Marathon, in New York, November 7, 2010. Ethiopian Gebre Gebremariam won in a time of 2:08.14 ahead of Kenya's Emmanuel Mutai and Kenya's Moses Kigen Kipkosgei finished third.
