Ireland's finance minister Brian Lenihan (R) speaks during an ECOFIN Council meeting on November 28, 2010 at the EU headquarters in Brussels. Eurozone finance ministers reached an agreement on November 28, 2010 on a 85-billion-euro -113 billion dollars- rescue package for Ireland which has yet to be endorsed by the European Union as a whole, a diplomat said. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin the day before in an angry protest at what many believe to be the government's prioritising of the interest of banks over the interests of ordinary taxpayers.
