Minister and secretary-general of the Presidency Amadou Gon Coulibaly (C), Minister of infrastrucure and government's spokesman Patrick Achi (R), Minister of Agriculture Remy Kouadio Allah (L) arrive for a Cabinet meeting of the new Ivorian Prime minister Guillaume Soro's government after the United Nations recognised Alassane Ouattara as the new President, on December 6, 2010 at Golf Hotel in Abidjan. Incumbent President Laurent Gbagbo and his old rival Alassane Ouattara have both sworn themselves in as president and each pressed on as if he was in charge despite mediation attempts by South Africa's former president Thabo Mbeki. Gbagbo, 65, has defied international calls to cede power after the United Nations recognised Ouattara as the winner of the November 28 runoff vote, which was supposed to stabilise the country but has been marred by deadly violence.
