FRANCE-JUSTICE-HEALTH-DRUG-MEDIATOR
The president of the Association for the victims of Isomeride and Mediator medecines (AVIM) Dominique-Michel Courtois (L) arrives on January 11, 2011 at the Paris Courthouse Health investigation unit with his lawyers, his son Philippe Courtois (R) and Jean-Christophe Coubris to file 110 complaints against French drug lab Servier. Servier's diabetes medecine Mediator that was prescribed to some 5 million people from 1976 to 2009 is suspected to have killed close to 500 patients.
