HONG KONG-PROPERTY-ENVIRONMENT-PROTES

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), approval was granted Henderson Land for a golf course and residential development at Nam Sang Wai, an area where wetlands are situated. The group's position regarding the development is that there will be an unacceptable ecological impact due to huge loss of wetland—the development scale being extremely extensive, in which 54 on-site wetland habitats will be lost for residential and golf course uses.
