HOUSTON - JANUARY 26: The medical team of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) speaks at a press conference to update the media on the condition of U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), who was transported today from Memorial Hermann hospital to the Texas Institute of Rehabilitation and Research to begin her long-term rehabilitation following a gunshot wound at close range to the head January 26, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Doctors upgraded Giffords' condition from serious to good after being shot on January 8 when a gunman opened fire at an event where she was meeting with constituents. Jared Lee Loughner, the man accused of the January 8, shooting that killed six people and wounded Giffords pleaded not guilty during a court hearing.
