FRANCE-CINEMA-AWARD-LANGLOIS
Jean-Louis Langlois (R), President of the Vincennes International cinema meeting and of the Henri-Langlois Prizes gives an honorary film award to Franco-Polish film director Roman Polanski (L) for his 50-year carreer during the Henri-Langlois film awards ceremony on January 31, 2011 in Vincennes, east of Paris. The film prizes, named after Henri Langlois, a pioneer in the preservation of films and one of the founders of the French Cinematheque, are awarded each year to actors, directors, film technicians and institutions that influence with talent and creativity the film industry.
