AFGHANISTAN-US-NATO-MILITARY
TO GO WITH Afghanistan-US-NATO-military-social,FOCUS by Marc Bastian
This photo taken on January 28, 2011 shows US soldiers from the 101st Airborne and Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers inspecting Chinese-made rockets during a patrol in Arghandab district, Kandahar province. Drugs, swearing and a sometimes insurmountable language barrier are just some of the cultural problems facing foreign troops striving to hand security to their Afghan counterparts by 2014. Many US troops are infuriated by Afghan soldiers smoking hashish while the Afghan hate the often florid swearing of US troops, soldiers speaking to AFP in the Zhari and Arghandab districts in Kandahar, southern Afghanistan, said.
