FILES-AUSTRIA-OETZI-ICEMAN-NATURAL MUMMY
Picture taken on September 24, 1991 in Innsbruck shows Otzi the Iceman (also spelled Oetzi and known also as Frozen Fritz). A special exhibition to celebrate its discovery 20 years ago will open on March 1, 2011 in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, in Italy. The exhibition, entitled Otzi20, will be held until January 15, 2012, and will focus on the latest scientific findings. It will be presenting a new reconstruction of Otzi based on anatomical 3D images of his skull by two Dutch artists, Alfons and Adrie Kennis. AFP PHOTO/Gerhard HINTERLEITNER/CONTRAST-APA
