NORWAY-STORM-ACCCIDENT
Local police chief Egil Netland radioes on February 17, 2011 next to backpacks presumably belonging to three people who perished and whose bodies were recovered in the area, near Taumevatn, a lake in Sirdal, southern Norway. Norwegian police found three bodies in a mountainous region hit by a snowstorm and feared more had been killed, rescuers said today. Sunde said authorities thought they might be strangers to the area on a cross-country skiing trip who had been caught in the bad weather, as no one had been reported missing locally.
