FRANCE-ARTS-MORELLET-POMPIDOU-EXHIBITION
A picture taken on February 28, 2011 shows a light installation by French artist Francois Morellet at the Centre Pompidou aka Beaubourg in Paris, during a retrospective devoted to his work, with 26 pieces which have marked his career. In the 1960s, Morellet co-founded the "cinetique" artistic movement (with contemporaries such as Francisco Sobrino, Julio Le Parc, Yvaral, etc) at the heart of the Visual Art Research group (groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel). The event runs from March 2 to July 4, 2011. The installation is named "2 trames de tirets 0°-90° avec participation du spectateur". AFP PHOTO PIERRE VERDY
