US-SPACE-SHUTTLE-DISCOVERY
Spray paint marks the spot on the Shuttle Landing Facility runway where the nose landing gear of the space shuttle Discovery stopped after it landed March 9, 2011 at Kennedy Space Center in Florida ending the 39th and final flight for Discovery. A plaque will be placed at this spot indicating where Discovery's finall mission ended. The KSC workers plan to place plaques on the runway for the remaining two shuttles when their missions end.
