This photo taken and released on March 12, 2011 by the US Navy shows a desk chair in a layer of mud and petroleum that now covers much of the US Navy Fleet and Industrial Supply Center facility Yokosuka Defense Fuel Support Point at Hachinohe in Aomori prefecture in northern Japan after a tsunami swept through the area on March 11. Japan battled a feared meltdown of two reactors at a quake-hit nuclear plant on March 13, as the full horror of the disaster emerged on the ravaged northeast coast with thousands feared dead.
