Two polar bear cubs Gregor and Aleut their mother Vera explore their enclosure at the Tiergarten zoo in Nuremberg, southern Germany, on March 23, 2011. The two cubs were born on December 16, 2010 and left their breeding burrow for the first time on March 23, 2010. Berlin's superstar polar bear Knut, who died suddenly on March 19, 2011 aged just four, likely fell victim to undiagnosed brain damage, his zoo said on March 22, 2011.
