(FILES) Aircraft park at Chek Lap Kok airport in Hong Kong on May 22, 2007. A total of 983 flight movements were handled at the Hong Kong International Airport on March 31, 2011, setting a new daily record, a spokesman for the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department said. During the past 12 months, from April 2010 - March 2011, 317,860 aircraft movements were handled at the Hong Kong International Airport and 167,431 aircraft movements operated through the Hong Kong Flight Information Region.
