NIGERIA-VOTE
Presidential candidate of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari raises his hand during a rally, in Lagos, on April 6, 2011. The ex-military ruler seen as the main challenger in Nigeria's presidential vote took his campaign to the nation's largest city today, telling thousands that the ruling party has failed. Buhari has major support in Nigeria's mainly Muslim north and is seen as less popular in the predominately Christian south, where Lagos is located, but he nonetheless drew several thousand supporters.
