NIGERIA-VOTE
A polling clerk calls out names of voters during a registration excercise prior to the voting process at Jos' Mado area in Nigeria's Central Belt on April 16, 2011 during the Presidential elections. Nigerians voted in large numbers Saturday in a crucial presidential election as Africa's most populous nation sought to make history by holding its cleanest polls for head of state in nearly two decades. Polling stations across the country opened on time and voting was generally calm in most of the country, though two explosions hit the northeastern city of Maiduguri, and atleast three people shot by security agents in Jos with no fatalities reported however as rioting also broke out in the northern town of Misau that led to buildings being burnt.
