French Rudolf Brazda (C), prisoner detained in the Buchenwald concentration camp during the second world war because of his homosexuality, is awarded chevalier de la Legion d'honneur by the President of the foundation for the memory of deportation, Marie-Josee Chombart de Lauwe (L), followed by the mayor of Puteaux, Joelle Ceccaldi-Raynaud (2ndR), French resistant, Raymond Aubrac (R), Ile-de-France region advisor, Jean-Luc Romero (2ndL) at the Marechal-Leclerc middle school of Puteaux, outside Paris, on April 28, 2011.
