HUNGARY-AIRCRAFT

A faithful replica of a 3-cylinder Anzani engine (4000cc and 28 HP) driven aircraft, the 'Kvasz No. 1' from 1910 stands on the field of Budapest-Farkashegy hobby airfield on April 7, 2011 as the plane was built in the last five years by Hungarian aviator Laszlo Revy and mechanical Laszlo Ungar. They worked from the original design of one of the pioneers of Hungarian aviation Andras Kvasz. The original plane was built in 1911 and flew above Rakos Field, near Budapest. The remake of this primordial and weird flying structure with its wooden airframe and canvas wings and fins, driven by a very specially constructed asymmetric engine is ready to take off, and waiting for the permission of Hungarian Flight Authority for its maiden flight.
