FRANCE - AFGHANISTAN - HOSTAGES
Journalists of Press Club of Strasbourg release 500 balloons during a demonstration in support to French journalists Stephane Taponier and Herve Guesquiere, abducted and held in Afghanistan, on May 14, 2011 in central Strasbourg, eastern France, to mark the 500 days of their abduction. Reporter Taponier and cameraman Herve Ghesquiere, who both work for France 3 television, were seized along with three Afghan colleagues on December 30 2009 in an area northeast of Kabul rife with anti-government insurgents.
