The Creekmore's take daily trips out to see the damage to their home which is currently filled with about 4 feet of floodwater and to feed possums and a raccoon that have been stranded on the roof of their home. The Mississippi river at Vicksburg is expected to crest May 19. Heavy rains have left the ground saturated, rivers swollen, and have caused widespread flooding along the Mississippi River from Illinois to Louisiana.
