FRANCE-POLITICS-SOCIALISTS
France's Socialist Party (PS) leader Martine Aubry (2ndL) and head of the Poitou-Charentes regional council and candidate for the 2011 socialist party (PS) primary election, Segolene Royal wave upon their arrival to hold a meeting on May 24, 2011 in Poitiers, central France, to present the PS' s project for 2012 French presidential election. Socialist support is swelling for Aubry to step up to challenge incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy next year. At right is Paris Senator David Assouline and at background, center, is Francois Lamy, Aubry's second hand man.
