GERMANY-TELECOMMUNICATIONS-DEUTSCHETELEKOM-LTE
Rene Obermann (R), chairman of German telecommunications giant Deutsche Telekom, and Niek Jan van Damme (L) addresses a press conference on June 1, 2011 in Cologne, western Germany. The company announced that it will start operating its Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile network technology in Cologne, followed by Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt and 100 other cities across the country.
