BOSNIA-WARCRIMES-MLADIC-SIEGE

The museum exhibits a number of artefacts such as medical suplies, food samlpes and handmade makeshift "inovations" that were used to make life easier during the siege of Sarajevo between 1992 and 1995. The chief suspect for 44 month long siege of Sarajevo, Bosnian Serb wartime military leader Ratko Mladic was arrested in neighboring Serbia on May 26, after 16 years in hiding from International Warcrimes Tribunal in Hague. Mladic is to face trial on 15 accounts of warcrime including terrorising civillians in besieged city of Sarajevo as well as genocide in Srebrenica 1995. AFP PHOTO / ELVIS BARUKCIC
