Picture taken on June 7, 2011 in Montauban shows French Defense Gerard Longuet taking part in a ceremony paying tribute to Guillaume Nunes-Patego, a French soldier killed on June 1, 2011 in a skirmish with rebels in Afghanistan, bringing to 59 the number of troops from France killed since Paris deployed forces there in 2001. The paratrooper was killed in an encounter with rebels during a reconnaissance mission in the Alasay valley in the east of the country, the French presidency said in a statement.
