LUXEMBOURG-EU-AGRICULTURE
EU agriculture and rural development commisioner Dacian Ciolos attends a press conference on June 7,2011 at the end of an extraordinary Agriculture Council meeting at the EU headquarters in Luxembourg. EU agriculture ministers discussed compensating farmers in the wake of the e. Coli outbreak. Authorities have yet to identify the source of the outbreak, which has left more than 2,300 people ill and 24 dead in at least 14 countries.
