US-FEDEX
FedEx Senior VP of Flight Operations Paul E. Cassel slides open a door and lets the media see the beds pilots use on breaks on long hauls, on the 12th Boeing 777F received, with 32 more on order, at Dulles International Airport in Sterling, Virginia, June 8, 2011. It is the world's largest twin-engine cargo aircraft and can carry 178,000 pounds (81 metric tons) of cargo and fly 6,675 land miles with 18 percent improved fuel efficiency and less emission vs the MD-11 it is replacing. On the big global routes this Boeing 777F gives FedEx competitive advantages for the company and the customer with later shipping deadlines and faster transit times. As big as this cargo cabin is, there is another one below it. AFP Photo/Paul J. Richards
