TURKEY - SYRIA - POLITICS - UNREST - REFUGEES
Syrian refugees wait on June 15, 2011 on the side of a road at the Turkish border near the village of Guvecci in Hatay to be transferred to a refugee camp. In Ankara, Prime Minister Erdogan was to hold talks with an envoy of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Hassan Turkmani, in an apparent fresh effort to press Damascus to initiate reform and end the turmoil.
