French-Belgian writer François Weyergans (screen) is pictured prior to deliver his speech in his new habit vert or green habit for his official entry ceremony as member of the prestigious Academie Francaise (French Academy), the body which has the task of acting as an official authority on the French language, on June 16, 2011 at the Institut de France in Paris. Weyergans, 69, joined the "immortals", as the 40 members of the Academie are known.
