Cardinal Angelo Amato (C), special envoy of Pope Benedict XVI and prefect of the Congregation for the Saints Cause, celebrates a mass during the beatification of Sister Marguerite Rutan, Daughter of Charity, on June 19, 2011 in the Dax arena. In the second half of the eighteenth century, Sister Marguerite Rutan worked with great commitment in the hospital in Dax, but in the tragic persecution that followed the Revolution, was sentenced to death for her faith and fidelity to the Church in 1794.
