A new priest receives insignia from Bishops Alfonso de Gallerata of Argentina during an ordination mass of the breakaway fundamentalist Roman Catholic Society of St Pius X in Econe, western Switzerland on June 29, 2011. Thirteen fundamentalists priests, mainly from France but also Italy and Madagascar and ten French deacons have been inducted by the Society. A meeting is scheduled for next mid September between the Catholic Church and Lefebvrists fundamentalists to assess two years of difficult discussions.Founder of the Society of St. Pius X, Bishop Marcel Lefebvre from France was excommunicated for having consecrated four bishops in 1988. Pope Benedict XVI lifted the excommunication in a gesture of reconciliation in 2009. Thousands of worshippers attended the ceremony which was celebrated mainly in Latin. AFP PHOTO / FABRICE COFFRINI
