With the flags of member nations reflected on a polished floor, new International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde arrives in the lobby at IMF heaquarters for her first day on the job July 5, 2011 in Washington, DC. Former French finance minister Lagarde took over as the new head of the IMF with fresh questions over Portugal's bailout posing an immediate challenge.
