A picture released on June 28, 2011 by the UNHCR and taken on May 31, 2011 shows Ayan, 16, working on her sewing machine, teaching the skills that she has learned to other displaced girls from poor families so they can provide for their families, at the Internally Displaced People (IDP) camp in Galkayo. Somalia's Al Qaeda-linked Shebab insurgents, who have expelled foreign aid workers from areas under their control in recent years, are now appealing for help for thousands of people suffering from a severe drought. Food shortages and violence have forced thousands of Somalis to flee, with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees saying that 54,000 Somalis had fled the country in June alone. "The movement has now formed a new committee to respond to the drought to help those affected," Shebab spokesman Sheik Ali Mohamud Rage told reporters on July 5, 2011. AFP PHOTO / UNHCR - R. GANGALE
