Michael Gallagher (R), whose son Aidan was killed in the Omagh bombing stands with Stanley McCombe (C), husband of Omagh bombing victim and son Clive McCombe (L) outside the High Court, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, following the ruling on the civil case in the Omagh bombing, on July 7, 2011. Two men have successfully appealed against a High Court ruling that held them responsible for the Omagh bombing today, but two others had their appeals dismissed. Belfast High Court allowed appeals by Colm Murphy and Seamus Daly. Appeals lodged by convicted Real IRA leader Michael McKevitt and fellow senior republican Liam Campbell were dismissed by a panel of three judges.
