France's oldest working steam engine arrives on July 28, 2011 at the railway station of Thoiras-Lasalle, southern France. Put into circulation in 1917 to drag heavy artillery trains during World War I, this steam engine 140 C 27 transports 140,000 tourists every year on a railway line in a round trip from Anduze to Saint-Jean-du-Gard in the Cevennes region.
